Community legal centres provide assistance to people in our communities who face economic, social or cultural disadvantage, are often experiencing multiple inter-related problems, and frequently their legal problem may affect their and their family’s entire life circumstances.
The staff and volunteers at community legal centres work incredibly hard to defend the rights of others and to educate the community about Australia's justice system.
Working in the community legal sector provides an opportunity to work with everyday people as well as people experiencing discrimination and disadvantage and their communities and to a make a real difference.
